Thank you for sharing what you’re going through. It is a lot to deal with when these type of things first start occurring.

There are many people who have heard their name called, some after a person close to them has died and others almost randomly. It is normal to feel scared when this happens as our bodies usually react with either flight or fright when in situations that are dangerous/ shocking/ scary etc. This is probably why you felt you couldn’t breathe properly. It’s like when someone has a panic attack, they struggle to breathe properly.
In terms of answering the voice if you hear it again, perhaps go with your instincts. We are all figuring out what our experiences were, there are different theories from several schools of thought, I believe that it is definitely spiritual. Whether a good encounter or not, it depends on different factors. You do have the authority to tell spirits to leave you alone if you feel troubled by their presence. Try activities such as meditation to help you grow spiritually and to create an atmosphere of peace not fear.

Dreams are definitely something you should write down if you are experiencing them manifesting in future situations. It is a gift and I too have many such as this, I can distinguish between those that are messages for others or myself and those that are merely influenced by what I’ve watched or been thinking about. It takes time to hone this skill but it starts with writing them down with a date and then if you feel compelled to tell someone a message you may have for them, definitely do. It may be life changing for them.
Above all, know that there are different seasons in life. What you are experiencing will not always be this way. Try not to panic and do as much research as you can while working on getting to an elevated spiritual state and a place of inner peace. Feel free to give any updates with how you are getting on.
